To cover operating expenses, production workflows, permanent digital archiving, Crossref DOI registration, and global open-access dissemination, JOCSTEC applies transparent publication fees as outlined below:

Immediate and unrestricted Open Access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Registration and minting of a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via Crossref.

Professional copyediting, layout editing, XML/PDF formatting, and metadata generation.

Long-term digital preservation through PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and repository indexing.

Continuous server hosting, data backups, and technical infrastructure maintenance.
Editorial Independence & Integrity

No Influence on Editorial Decisions: Payment of the APC has no influence whatsoever on editorial evaluations or peer review decisions.

Editorial decisions are made strictly based on scientific merit, originality, academic rigor, and scope relevance.

Invoices are issued only after the peer review process is completed and an official formal Letter of Acceptance (LoA) has been delivered.
Waiver Policy
JOCSTEC believes that financial constraints should never prevent high-quality research from being published.

Fee Waivers and Discounts: We offer full or partial waivers for authors who demonstrate financial hardship, lack institutional research funding, or originate from low-income economies defined by the World Bank.

How to Apply: Authors requesting a waiver must submit a formal written request to the Editor-in-Chief at
admin@padangtekno.comat the time of initial manuscript submission, providing justifiable reasons and supporting documents. Waiver requests are evaluated separately from the peer-review process.
Payment Methods
Once an article is accepted, payment details (official bank transfer to the publishing entity account of PT. Padang Tekno Corp) and formal receipts will be sent directly to the corresponding author via the registered email.
